Parasailing at Catalina Island
April 2, 2014. By Arnold Rapinan When planning our trip to Catalina Island, I asked my daughter if she wanted to parasail with me. With no hesitation, and excitedly, she said yes. I knew then that it will be a lifetime opportunity to do parasailing together with my daughter for the very first time. I have always wanted to go parasailing, but everytime opportunities emerged, my fear of heights has always evaded me.
However, the idea of parasailing together with my daughter for the very first time and knowing that she will forever remember it gave me the courage to try. Quite frankly, the more I thought about it, the more I could not pass the opportunity. Today, when I think about our parasailing experience, I just smile and glad we did it. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed it very much. And as usual, my daughter was brave and more calm than I was (my body was shaking throughout the entire time). Watch the video below.
