Kayaking at Catalina Island
February 17, 2014. By Arnold Rapinan My daughter and I wanted to ensure we did kayak excursion on our first trip to Catalina Island. So, we signed up for a kayak tour where a guide took us (a small group of people) from the marina toward southern part of the island. The tour was for all ages and no previous kayak experience required.
The tour guide was knowledgeable about the island and its ecosystem (he was funny too), and he took us near a beach where we saw a bunch of Leopard Sharks and gold fishes. Overall, we had a great time and very glad we experienced kayaking at Catalina. I highly recommend this kayak excursion for kids and adults.
